Problems in and Suggestions for the Method of Peer Review in the Local Accomplishment Appraisement of Science and Technology

Abstract: Peer review is the most generally method that now is carried out as the local accomplishment appraisement application of science and technology.However, because there are lot of problems such as imperfect method system, non-standard evaluation methods and so on, it is seriously affected the objectivity and justice of appraisement work. This paper takes peer review in the local accomplishment appraisement of science and technology to appraise as research content, and analyses its major problem that exposed in appraisement course. Then it puts forward related improvement measures to make peer review more perfect and standard. It can be able to objectively, truthfully and accurately reflect the results of the evaluation of the real situation.
